just a little update
01. school started last monday. can’t wait til 2/21 for president’s day = NO CLASS! monday - community lecture; can you believe that my professor doesn’t allow laptops in class; I will rant about her in a wee bit! tuesday - community clinical which involves going to catholic schools to do health teaching and promotion wednesday - only free day of the week thursday - complex...
Having a period

I understand that this must be a distressing sight to see, but for Emily, this was a reality.
Emily was born in 2002 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. This plainly means that the left side of her heart does not work.
She has had three operations, one at 2 days old, one at two years old, and one at four to correct this, but when she hits her teenage years Emily will have to be opened...

wednesday night
spent the last 3 hours at UH Sinclair Library..good student right? because school hasn’t even started! NOPE! mad tweaking on tumblr, FB, updating my playlist (because I thought the music would help me get started on my paper), may/may not be talking to people I should/should not be talking to..but that’s besides the point.
did I forget to mention that I was supposed to be working on...
nothing in this world comes free..
so for a little recognition on my upcoming graduation in May. I had to make a $225 fee to officially become a member of the honor society of nursing sigma theta tau. I paid $12 for my orchid cord just so my gown during graduation won’t look so plain. all this so I can spice up my resume in hopes to not be jobless after graduation.
mai tais tonight..in the last few weeks I’ve only surrounded myself with the close group of friends I only see on my little vacations to the mainland..
tonight..back to acquaintances! I guess I have to go by to my resolution of building new bridges! we’ll see how it goes..

1. BSN status by May 18, 2011 2. instead of burning bridges, build more bridges. 3. less fighting, more cupcaking. 4. save, invest, prepare for the future of a college grad.
